GREENGUARD
The mission of the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) is to protect human health and improve the quality of life, by enhancing indoor air quality and reducing people’s exposure to chemical agents and other polluting substances.
GEI certifies products and materials with low chemical emissions and provides a resource for the choice of healthier products and materials for interior environments. All of the products certified must satisfy rigorous standards of chemical emissions on the basis of criteria established by the most important public health agencies. The GREENGUARD certification is widely recognized and accepted by sustainable construction programs and by building regulations worldwide.
All Quarella products are Greenguard Gold certified. This certification was instituted by GEI to address the indoor air quality needs of schools, daycare centres, and other sensitive environments and, as such, enforces stricter chemical emissions limits than the original certification.
